Season One
The First Season of the animated sitcom Home Movies originally aired on UPN from April 26, 1999 to May 24, 1999. The rest of the season aired on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim from September 2, 2001 to October 7, 2001. Co-creators Brendon Small and Loren Bouchard along with Tom Snyder served as writers, executive producers and directors for this season. The season used Snyder's signature "Squigglevision" animation style, it would change to Flash animation in season two of Home Movies. The first five episodes used retroscripting, consisting the cast completely improvising the story and animation being produced afterward. The season was released on DVD by Shout! Factory on November 16, 2004.
