When Brendon's adopted baby sister, Josie, sticks marbles up her nose, she is rushed to the hospital where she is treated by a doctor, and is released. The experience leads Brendon to question why "A normal Person would put marbles in their nose". To which Paula informs him that Josie just does not know any better, due to her being an infant. This inspires Brendon to make an educational video with Jason and Melissa, using hand puppets, to warn children to not stick marbles up their nose. Brendon also hopes to earn extra credit on the project, after bringing it up to Mr.Lynch for advice on how to go about teaching. Meanwhile, Erik tries to help McGuirk find a new place to live, but ends up moving in with the Robbins family after he prematurely moves out of his apartment and tells his landlady to "Kiss his big, fat ass". Brendon shows his educational film to a group of younger students at his school. In this film a "Spikey McMarbles", played by Brendon, and a "Dr.Teachem", played by Jason, try to convey the message that children should not put marbles into their nose. Mellisa is also in the film, playing herself as a type of host. Dwayne and his band then perform a rock song reiterating their message, entitled [[Don't Put Marbles In Your Nose (song)|Don't Put Marbles In Your Nose]]. During the music video segment, all the younger students begin putting marbles into their nose. With one student commenting he was inspired to do so when Spikey told him not to. Brendon does not recieve extra credit for the project, and Lynch complains about having to spend the afternoon pulling marbles out of noses. Though, it is hinted at that Lynch has also been inspired to put marbles into his nose. As McGuirk wears out his welcome at the Robbins' home, Erik scrambles to find him a new place, showing him several dilapidated homes. McGuirk ends up moving back into his old apartment at triple the rent, but is informed of rental laws by Lynch. McGuirk seems to be oblivious to the fact he could use these laws to his advantage, even after Lynch directly tells him so.
