Synopsis Edit

Brendon gets inspired to run away to Europe, though does not think it through. Coach McGurk seeks out financial advise, but ends up gambling.

Plot Edit

After making a movie about art, the gang decides to run away to Europe to be real artists, where they believe that their work would be appreciated over there. They pack up their bags and they stowaway on what they believe to be is a cargo ship, which is really a casino boat and Jason gets addicted to playing the slot machines. Brendon, Jason and Melissa later decided to go home and they leave the casino boat. Meanwhile, Coach McGuirk finds out his car repair is going to cost $1000, he seeks financial help from an motivational speaker and financial expert Tom Wilsonberg. Tom suggests that Coach McGuirk should quickly earn more money by gambling on the casino boat. Tom gives Coach McGuirk $100 in chips and he sets off in a winning streak. Tom wanted Coach McGuirk to quit while he's still ahead, but refuses. Their argument leads to all the chips falling into the water, despite this, Tom reassures Coach McGuirk that he can still win money by suing the casino for unsafe railings.

  • As Brendon leaves home, he tells Paula that he is going to "live on the road like Jim Kerouac." On the Road is a roughly autobiographic novel by writer Jack Kerouac which depicts a series of cross-country road trips taken with friends between 1947 and 1951.
